Our senior managing editor Mar came on staff at Growth Machine after becoming one of our favorite freelance writers who could take any topic and turn it into an engaging, witty article for our clients. 

Mar started her career as a music journalist interviewing everyone from complete unknowns to world-famous rock stars. She then segued into broader lifestyle genres spanning fashion, art + culture, design, architecture, hospitality, travel, celebrity interviews … you name it, she probably did it!

With her varied background, she kills it on every client she takes on, but she’s especially talented at anything food, wine, lifestyle, and e-commerce related! 

She lives in sunny Santa Monica, California and enjoys taking weekend trips to wine country on the central coast with her husband, Aram.
